Description

Blackburn Golf Club, founded in 1894, is an 18-hole parkland course enjoying outstanding views of the Pennine Hills and the Fylde coast. The golf course measures 6,144 yards from the white tees, par 71 for men and 5,364 yards, par 73 for ladies. It is a fair and enjoyable test for any level of golfer.

Alan Rodwell, the PGA Professional is well equipped to cater for all your golfing needs. A wide selection of equipment and a full repair service at competitive prices are available. Take advantage of the great offers on individual, group and junior instruction.

From the M6 Junction 31
Follow the signs towards Blackburn, passing the Swallow Hotel. Keep straight on through three set of traffic lights. After approx. five and a half miles, at the fourth set of traffic lights, turn left into Revidge Road. Continue up the hill: at the Dog Inn, turn left into Beardwood Brow (narrow entry). Blackburn Golf Club is 300 yards on the right.

From M65 Junction 6
Follow signs for Ring Road (A6119) to Clitheroe. Continue along the dual carriageway (A6119) through several sets of traffic lights. Pass St Gabriel’s Church on the right and at the next set of traffic lights follow the signs for Preston (M6). At the next set of traffic lights (at the Knowles Arms) turn left into Pleckgate Road. Continue through one more set of traffic lights onto Revidge Road. Continue past the radio masts until the Dog Inn is sighted, turn right opposite the Dog Inn into Beardwood Brow (narrow entry). Blackburn Golf Club is 300 yards on the right.
