Set high on chalk downland between Salisbury and Amesbury, High Post Golf Club is a Championship Course commanding glorious views for miles. With its wonderful design it’s easy-walking and suitable for all levels of player whilst still challenging for the very best golfers. The well-draining downland turf ensures that the course is always in wonderful condition with all-year-round playability. Having hosted national events such as the Carris Trophy and the Ladies Home Internationals, High Post has a reputation as being one of the finest downland courses in the country and is founded on the provision of great golf, excellent facilities, superb hospitality and a very friendly atmosphere. Amongst its many plaudits is Peter Alliss who included the par 4 9th hole in his dream 18 holes of golf! There is a fully stocked Pro Shop, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere inside. You can browse through a superb range of golf equipment, clothing and accessories, with something to suit everyone. When the time comes to relax, the Clubhouse offers a stress-free place to relax with friends, family and acquaintances. You can rest assured that the friendly and efficient staff will provide the best of service in the welcoming Clubhouse. The dining facilities at High Post offer great flexibility and regularly cater for groups of all sizes and for all occasions. Other facilities at High Post Golf Club include practice putting greens, a large driving range and a short-game practice area. Buggy and trolley hire is available but it is best to book these in advance

From the North and East:
Join the A303 to Amesbury (Countess Roundabout) taking the first exit into Amesbury (A345). Continue through Amesbury towards Salisbury for three miles. Upon reaching the traffic lights by the Inn at High Post, turn left. The clubhouse is located 200 yards down the lane on the right.

From the West:
Join the A303 to Amesbury (Countess Roundabout) taking the third exit into Amesbury on the A345, proceed as above.

From the South:
Use either A338 (from Bournemouth) or A36 (from Southampton) to reach Salisbury. Join the A36 ring road heading for Bristol and the West. Upon reaching Castle Street roundabout you will see a sign for the A345 and Amesbury. Take the third exit towards, Amesbury on the A345. After approximately four and a half miles a set of traffic lights is reached. Turn right here and you will find the clubhouse 200 yards down the lane on the right.
