The Beautiful Vale of York
Set in 100 acres of parkland our par 72, easy walking 6187 yard course is set in the Vale of York with the River Ure meandering through the course coming into play on several holes. This, coupled with other water hazards, makes Aldwark a challenge to golfers of all abilities. Although not a long course, a premium is put on accuracy.

Take a Risk
The course offers plenty of risk and reward shots. None more so than at the downhill par 5 10th. After a well struck shot from the tee, the second demands a mid iron over a water hazard to a guarded green. Play it safe or go for an eagle? There are plenty of decisions to be made on the course at Aldwark. Negotiate your way round to the 18th hole and finish with a par 3 over water to a target green. A great hole to finish an interesting and challenging golf course.

Aldwark offers everything a golfer could want accompanied by the four star hotel, making it a great venue for golf breaks, societies or even just a round! The hotel is also great for that non golfer in your party. Situated between Harrogate and York there is plenty to see and do. Within the hotel our leisure facilities are first class, with swimming pool, gymnasium, spa and steam room and for the ultimate in relaxation we have a number of treatment rooms.

The hotel has 55 bedrooms split between traditional in the manor house and contemporary in the new wing. The 2 AA rosette award-winning restaurant offers the finest cuisine from a varied and exciting menu complemented by an impressive wine list. Exit the A1 at Jct 47 and follow the A59 towards York.

After 3 miles, turn left onto the B6265 and follow brown Aldwark Manor signs.

After 2.7 miles you will reach an intersection at Little Ouseburn, turn right following the brown signs.

After 0.3 miles you will reach a T junction, turn left. When you cross the hump back bridge, turn right.

At the toll bridge, 40p is required to cross, once across and after 100 yards turn left and proceed for approx. 1/4 mile. The entrance to Aldwark Manor is on the right hand side.
